Looking to work on your habits that will help you live your best life in the coming year?
Small changes to your habits can make a massive difference in your life. In this blog post, learn the 10 habits that can significantly help you improve your life in the new year!
1. Have a mantra for the year

Set your goals, dreams for the year and create an overall mantra/theme around it. It could be as simple as being grateful for any experience that comes your way or being open to change. Having a theme will keep you grounded and motivated. It will give an approach mechanism to real your set goals.
My mantra for this year- ‘Little by little, day by day- what is meant for you will find its way.’
2. Go to bed early and wake up early

I cannot emphasize this enough. Our bodies follow a certain circadian rhythm and we more than often to end up violating it. Getting enough sleep and waking up early will set your circadian rhythm right. The wee hours of the morning are the most peaceful and perfect for some “ME TIME”. A lot of times we read that successful people wake up early and that is nothing but that in mornings we are more productive and we and think clearly.
To wake up fresh and productive, one needs to respect the fact that your body needs 7-8 hours of sleep that means that your bedtime moves up too.
Balance is another key so do enjoy those special occasions when you are with friends and family!
3. Celebrate your small/big accomplishments

We often forget to live in the moment and celebrate small wins. Waiting for someone else to pat your whereas the only pat you need is from yourself. It is important to celebrate your wins – small or big.
4. Let go of toxic people

It is rightly said that you are only going to be as good as the people you surround yourself with so be brave enough to let go of those who keep you weighing down.
Toxic people are dangerous for our inner peace. The secret to growth in this life is learning how to identify them and detach them from our happiness journey.
5.Have a daily gratitude practice

Gratitude promotes positive emotions, good experiences, improves health to deal with adversity, and helps build strong relationships. People feel and express gratitude in multiple ways. Gratitude opens doors to meaningful relationships and having a daily gratitude practice will enhance your daily wellbeing.
6.Make your bedroom a relaxing haven

Declutter your surrounding and declutter your mind to maximize productivity. A bedroom is a place where your body heals itself during sleep. Always follow this cardinal rule that bedroom is a space for relaxing and do not bring in your work to your bedroom.
Creating a space which is organized, relaxing can promote an overall healthy mind and body.
So light up some candles or burn some essential oils to create a relaxing haven.
