From making $500 in the first month I launched my business to making $500 in a day in month 14, I’ve come a long way. And to be honest in month 1, it felt IMPOSSIBLE to imagine a day when my business would be doing $500 days. But here’s the thing - you don’t get ahead by doing one random thing every now and then. You get ahead by doing the same thing in new and improved ways over and over and over again, until the wheel starts to move in the direction you want. So yesterday, when I woke up and realised I’d made more in my sleep than I did a WHOLE month of killing myself in the first month of my business, I was humbly reminded of the power of compounded effort and NOT GIVING UP. So whatever it is you’re working towards- Keep building, keep crashing and keep picking yourself back up and moving forward. So what’s the worst that could happen if you went after your dream? Uhh, I’d have to go and do a crappy job again. So the worst case scenario is your current scenario and yet you’re afraid to even try to go after something else? Don’t be the one who holds yourself back. Do it for the future version of you who goes after and gets everything she wants.

If someone told me 5 years ago that I’d be spending my days talking to a camera and getting paid to do that, I would’ve laughed. 🤠 A year ago, I didn’t even know how to really shoot a video from a proper camera. I didn’t know how a tripod worked, what the heck ring lights were and I sure as heck didn’t know how to talk to a machine. But here’s the thing, you can teach yourself ANYTHING. If you really want to, that is. Spending thousands of $ every month on advertising my new business was not an option, so I told myself I’d do the next best thing, which was to create free video content and build my audience on Youtube. Fast forward to today, it seems like the most natural thing in the world to do. I’m still far from an expert, but as long as each new video is better than the one before, that works! What’s something you never thought you could do but now are a natural at?👇

📌4 years since I started my first hobby blog. 📌 2.5 years since I started a second serious blog. 📌1 year since I started my online training business. 🙋🏻‍♀️400+ blog posts. 200+ videos. 500+ marketing emails. 8 digital products. Multiple failures. Multiple wins. Thousands of $ invested. 95% of all weekends worked. Gazillion no’s said. Countless breakdowns later... I now make more than my last corporate job and my business revenue is growing 70% month over month. But it didn’t happen in a blink. Here’s the thing - I’m not in any way special. I’m just committed to my vision and persistent AF. In the last few years of following my gut, I’ve realised it doesn’t just take talent or hard work to achieve your dreams. It takes courage to do something no one else around you is doing, but more than that it takes PERSISTENCE. The ability to stay stubbornly on-track against failure, haters, distractions, excuses and limiting beliefs. Because when you know deep deep down that you’re doing what you’re meant to be doing, you don’t take no for an answer. You find the funds, you take up extra jobs, you wake up early to work on your side hustle, you stay in on weekends, you teach yourself new skills, you do whatever the heck it takes to get closer to your goal. You stop making excuses. Period. Let this be your daily reminder to-
>> STOP GIVING UP ON YOURSELF SO DAMN EASILY. Just keep pushing forward, even when the people, the accolades and the results don’t show up. You’ll be surprised at how far you can get when you simply promise yourself to just do 1% better every single day. Thoughts? Let me know. 👇
