Positivity of mind, body and soul is important. In today’s world, especially with the increasing impact of social media on our lives, it’s easy to have low self-esteem issues, feel pity for yourself or have loss of confidence.

Girls, especially in their growing years, feel societal pressure.

But what makes women attractive is knowing the secret that you are unique in your own right and incomparable to others.

A lot of people have mental health issues, anxiety and are going into depression because they feel they aren’t living a life as fun or as full as others.

And that’s partly (if not fully) because of social media. We compare our life reel to their highlights and feel low.

But what you do not see is the struggle people go through to get where they are today. I’m testament to that.

I may not put my daily life out there but that doesn’t mean I’m not struggling and hustling behind the scenes.

You see me travelling but you don’t see all the hours I put in and all the late nights I go through to keep the lights on.

So be positive and keep encouraging yourself. You’re your biggest cheerleader. And as Selena Gomez put it, “You are who are; you’re unique and you’re rare.”

They are not afraid to follow their heart and do what they love.

Prioritize yourself. Do what makes you happy. I cannot stress this enough. The world we live in is too cynical and critical.

I hated my corporate job and knew I wanted achieve more and be more.

So, I quit my job and rather than struggling to keep my boss happy, I switched to keeping myself happy.

Don’t chase money at the cost of your happiness and well-being.

I’m not asking you to quit your job tomorrow, but if you’re unhappy doing it, try and figure out what makes you happy and if you can sustain yourself by doing it.

Once you are confident enough, take the leap.

You will be much happier doing what you love every day. And this way, if you make the time to take care of yourself, you can take better care of others too.

Apart from that, find a hobby and pursue it.

Feed not just your body but your soul too.

Create personal goals to help you grow.

That brings me to my next point, confidence. When people talk about beauty, they generally refer to your outward appearance.

But inner beauty and confidence are equally important if not more. Being confident helps in getting the respect that you deserve.

Being confident about yourself in your own skin and in the way you carry yourself also makes women attractive.

Have a plan of action. Fickle minded people aren’t attractive. Having a specific POA helps you to stay on track and not lose focus of your ultimate goal.

Having a goal in mind and working your way towards achieving it is found to be a very attractive trait.

This point is a succession to the previous one. Having a certain level of confidence and conveying that through a smile is an attractive trait.

People don’t like someone who is grumpy. Think about it, ever walked to a billing counter only to have the woman behind it grumpily look at you and complain about stuff?

Smiling automatically make you more attractive and approachable. Smiling is also said to keep you healthy.

So, smile and show off that confidence and prettiness to the world… And who knows you might make a new friend or meet your future partner because they fell for your smile.

The right food feeds and nourish your body. Having a balanced diet is so important in today’s junk food and takeout era.

If you’re a takeout person, mend your ways and take care of your body.

Foods have different nutritional advantages. Some benefit the skin, some your circulatory system, some your immune system and some your overall health.

The foods that help with glowing skin, peppier mood and shinier, stronger hair are the ones you should include in your diet.

You should get adequate sleep. Sleep deprivation and insomnia have a negative toll on your body.

Apart from the physical signs and effects, internally your body has lesser time to rest, heal and repair itself which leads to incomplete body functions.

Most adults need a good 7-8 hours of sleep every night which helps your body repair your tissues and by virtue, itself.

Lack of sleep causes puffy eyes, dark circles and wrinkles. All these make a woman less desirable.

Getting an adequate amount of sleep means that you won’t have those puffy eyes or dark circles that you try to conceal, your mind will be healthier and since the wrinkles will also reduce, you’ll age slower.

The right amount of sleep will keep you energised and keep your body happy. So, good sleep equals good health.
