Ever wondered why some women seem to get everything they want?
It’s not sheer luck or coincidence.
It’s a lot of habits. Built over time.
Here are 7 habits that you need to develop right away if you’d also like to be in the successful woman club.
#1 They set goals.

“If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.”
Successful women know the importance of goal setting and implementing.
They consistently set goals on a weekly, monthly, annual basis and measure up how they perform over time.
#2 They prioritize.

If you try to do everything at the same time, you won’t get anything done. It’s better to do 2-3 tasks with 100% efficiency instead of trying to do 10 tasks with 20% efficiency.
Multi-tasking is great an all, but you need to be able to prioritize what’s important when. And keep everything else but the most important tasks aside.
#3 They network.

You can’t grow alone. Especially not in today’s world, where it’s more important than ever to have a tribe of fans, supporters and even critics.
Building your network and connecting with like-minded women will get you faster to manifest your dreams.
You don’t need to have 100 close friends, but it is important to have a network of people professionally and personally that you can fall back on.

#4 They know when to take time off.

As a successful woman, you KNOW you will always have more things to do than time to do them.
Nevertheless, women who are high-achievers prioritize “me time” and take time off. Whether it’s getting that mani-pedi, a new haircut or just taking your mom to lunch, nothing beats downtime.

#5 They ask for what they want.

Nobody ever got success by being a “yes woman”. Women who are killing it, are also the ones that face their fears and speak up.
They stand up and ask for that salary increase. They ask for feedback. They ask for ways to do better at work and get ahead.
You can’t just “hope” success will come your way. You need to show up and ask for it.
#6 They are consistent.

Perhaps the most important trait amongst successful women, consistency is what sets them apart.
Instead of putting one hour one day and then 14 the next, and then forgetting all about their dream, they work CONSISTENTLY on their goals and achieving them.
Success takes consistency. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just faking it.
#7 They don’t expect overnight results.

Finally, patience girl!
Good things take time.
Success takes 10000 hours.
Overnight success is almost always a long time in the making.
So if you’d like to be successful, understand that it is a process and not an instant manifestation.
Invest in yourself, your goals, your dreams and work hard to make them happen. Success will be yours before you know it!

Hi Shruti,
So just wondering what is your definition of successful?
Just love to not set goals and have many dreams in stead, love to do a million things at a time and just see what comes from it, take it as it comes and change my mind all the time. And yet I still feel successful in live 🙂 Just saying, there is another way of living too.
Feel good and embrace moments that are not. Those make you feel even better than good next time.

Hi Marga, I totally agree! Setting goals is not the be-all for being successful. You can be successful even without setting goals. For me personally, planning helps me actually see where I was let’s say 5 years ago and where I am now, but I know it is vastly different for everyone else!
